Gardaí at Ronanstown in Dublin are investigating a shooting incident which occurred shortly before 9pm this evening at Shancastle Drive, Clondalkin, Dublin 22.

Gardaí at Ronanstown in Dublin are investigating a shooting incident which occurred shortly before 9pm this evening at Shancastle Drive, Clondalkin, Dublin 22.

A man in his 20’s received gunshot wounds to his leg and arm.

He was taken to Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown where his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

The scene is currently sealed off pending a Garda Forensic Examination.

Investigations are continuing.
