Man in critical condition after Cork road accident
A young man is in a critical condition in hospital in Cork this morning following a serious single-vehicle crash overnight.
The accident happened on the R576, Kanturk to Mallow Road just before 1am.
The man, aged in his 20s, was the only occupant of the car. He was taken to Cork University Hospital.
The stretch of road remains closed and diversions are in place.
