A man who was arrested in connection with a fatal crash in Dublin city centre has been released without charge.

A man who was arrested in connection with a fatal crash in Dublin city centre has been released without charge.

The man, aged in his 30s, was arrested after a woman aged in her 50s was killed when she was knocked down by a car that mounted the pavement on Upper Abbey Street yesterday afternoon.

He was released this afternoon without charge. A file will now be prepared for the DPP.
