A Garda investigation is underway after a man was found unconscious with serious injuries in the Santry area of Dublin this morning.
He was discovered on a footpath on Lorcan avenue at 5.40am, and is now in Beaumont Hospital where he is in a serious condition.
Detectives are looking for help identifying the man, who's believed to be between 25 and 35.
He is between 5'8" and 5'11" in height, and of stocky build.
When he was found he was wearing light brown boots, a green or khaki coloured round-neck T-shirt, and he also had a watch with luminous green straps.
There have been no arrests at this stage and the area where he was found has been sealed off for a technical examination.
