Gardaí in Co Louth are appealing for witnesses after a man in his fifties was found unconscious at Blackgate, Ravensdale at 8am yesterday.

Gardaí in Co Louth are appealing for witnesses after a man in his fifties was found unconscious at Blackgate, Ravensdale at 8am yesterday.

He was discovered lying unconscious with head injuries.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact the gardaí at Dromad Garda Station on 042-9871301.
