Man due in Dublin court in connection with woman's stabbing

A man is due to appear in court today, charged in connection with the death of Anna Finnegan in Dublin.
The mother of two was stabbed a number of times at her home in Clonsilla on Friday night.
26-year-old Anna Finnegan was stabbed a number of times during the attack at her home at Allendale Glen shortly before 9pm last Friday night.
Her two young children, aged two and nine months, were asleep upstairs in the house at the time.
She was pronounced dead at Connolly Hospital a short time later.
Her brother Karl also received stab wounds during the incident, and is in a stable condition at Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown.
A 31-year-old man was arrested on Saturday night for questioning and he is due to appear at Blanchardstown District Court later this morning.
