A man in his 30's is due in court in West Cork tomorrow morning charged in connection with a number of arson incidents.

A man in his 30's is due in court in West Cork tomorrow morning charged in connection with a number of arson incidents.

At around 5.15am, Gardaí responded to a call out where they discovered five cars on alight at Skibbereen Fire Station.

These vehicles were used for training purposes.

Shortly after Gardaí were called to a plant hire firm on Marsh Road where a car and a caravan had been set on fire.

Following a search of the surrounding area a man in his 30's was arrested after being found in a ditch, he'll appear before Clonakilty District Court at 10.30am tomorrow morning.
