Man drowns after falling overboard at Wexford Harbour

An investigation is underway after a man drowned in Wexford last night.

The man, aged in his 50s, is believed to have been working on his boat when he fell overboard at Wexford Harbour.

Emergency services, with the help of the local lifeboats and the Coastguard, launched a search operation yesterday evening.

They were unable to save the man, however.

His body was pulled from the water shortly before 6pm.
