A man will appear in court in Dublin tomorrow in connection with a firearms offence.

Man disarmed by Gardaí due in court

A man will appear in court in Dublin tomorrow in connection with a firearms offence.

Gardaí responding to a call in the Jobstown area of Tallaght in the early hours of this morning found a man in possession of a firearm.

The man attempted to flee the scene, but was followed on foot by Gardaí who managed to disarm and arrest him.

The 19-year-old will appear before Tallaght District Court in the morning.
