Man dies in overnight crash in Dublin

One man has died and another has been hospitalised following a single-vehicle crash in Co Dublin last night.

The accident happened on Lyons Road in Newcastle just after 11pm.

The driver of the car was taken to Tallaght General Hospital with injuries, while the passenger was pronounced dead at the scene.
