A man has been killed in a crash in Co Meath.

Man dies in Co Meath crash

A man has been killed in a crash in Co Meath.

The collision happened when the motorcyclist collided with a truck on the Maynooth to Dunboyne Road in Ashbourne at 1.40pm.

The deceased man has been removed to Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown.

Nobody else was injured in the collision.

The road is now closed to facilitate a forensic collision examination and Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact Ashbourne Garda station.
