Man dies from injuries sustained in Urlingford crash

A man in his 60s has died from injuries he sustained in a road accident that also claimed the life of a woman in her 40s yesterday afternoon.

A man in his 60s has died from injuries he sustained in a road accident that also claimed the life of a woman in her 40s yesterday afternoon.

The man was the driver of a car that collided with another vehicle on the main Dublin-Cork road at Urlingford, Co Kilkenny, just after 2pm.

This brings the weekend road death toll to five.

Another man is still being treated at hospital in Cashel for injuries he sustained in the crash.
