Man dies following Louth accident
A man has died after he was struck by a car in Co Louth last night.
The collision happened at 9.50pm on the N2 at Reaghstown, north of Ardee.
The 48-year-old man was taken to Louth County Hospital but was pronounced dead just before midnight.
Gardaí say the scene has been sealed off, and the road will remain closed until a full forensic examination has been carried out.
