A 24-year-old man has died in a crash in Co Tipperary.

Man dies after van hits tree in Tipperary

A 24-year-old man has died in a crash in Co Tipperary.

The victim’s van hit a tree in Bantiss, Cloughjordan at around 5.45pm on Friday.

He was taken to the Midland Regional Hospital in Portlaoise where he later died.

The road was closed for a forensic examination and gardaí at Nenagh have appealed for witnesses.
