Man dies after being hit by lorry in Monaghan

A man in his 30s has died after being knocked down by a lorry in Co Monaghan this morning.

A man in his 30s has died after being knocked down by a lorry in Co Monaghan this morning.

The accident happened at Drumganus, on the N2 between Carrickmacross and Castleblaney, at around 8am.

The driver of the lorry is being treated for shock at Louth County Hospital in Dundalk.
