Man dead in Drogheda shooting
A man has been shot dead in Co Louth tonight.
The incident happened at a house in Drogheda this evening.
At around 7 o'clock two men entered a house in the Saltown estate, they shot the man and fled the scene in what Gardaí believe was a white Toyota Corolla hatchback.
The vicitm who was in his 40s and was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hopsital in Drogheda.
He died there a short time later.
The scene in Saltown has now been sealed off for a technical examination.
