Man dead after overnight crash in Kildare

A man has been killed in an overnight road crash in Co Kildare.

The 27-year-old passenger was killed when the car in which he was travelling was involved in a collision on the Tipper Road in Naas at about 3.45am today.

The male driver of the car was hurt, and is being treated at Naas General Hospital

His injuries are not thought to be serious.
