Man continues to be questioned over Dublin stabbing

Gardaí are continuing to question a 41-year-old man in connection with the murder of Finbar Dennehy in Dublin earlier this week.

Gardaí are continuing to question a 41-year-old man in connection with the murder of Finbar Dennehy in Dublin earlier this week.

The 50-year-old single man was found dead at his home on the Seafield Road in Clontarf last Wednesday, he had been stabbed to death.

Gardaí detained the 41-year-old man in Dublin city centre at around 8.00 last night.

He can be held for up to 24 hours.
