Man charged in connection with May 4 stabbing in Cork


A 38-year-old man has been remanded in custody after he was charged in connection with a stabbing incident in Cork on Friday.

Peter Jackson of KerryHall Road, Fairhill, was charged with assault causing serious harm to David Hamilton at the same address on May 4.

At a special sitting of Cork District Court today, gardaí gave evidence of arrest, charge and caution.

Judge Olann Kelleher granted the application to have Mr Jackson remanded in custody, to appear in court again next Thursday.
