A 35-year-old man has been remanded on bail after being charged in connection with a drugs seizure worth around €250,000 in Co Cork.

A 35-year-old man has been remanded on bail after being charged in connection with a drugs seizure worth around €250,000 in Co Cork.

Vincent O'Brien from the Boyne, Rathcormack in Co Cork was charged with possession and possession for sale or supply of cannabis, at Kilclough, Vicarstown, in Blarney, Co Cork on April 1.

Gardaí had no objection to bail and Judge Con O'Leary remanded O'Brien on his own bail of €10,000.

He will appear again at Cork District Court on May 15.
