A 41-year-old man has been arrested over the Christmas bomb attack in Belfast's Cathedral Quarter.

A 41-year-old man has been arrested over the Christmas bomb attack in Belfast's Cathedral Quarter.

The bomb was left in a holdall in Exchange Street West and exploded on Friday December 13 when the area was busy with Christmas party-goers.

No-one was injured.

The PSNI said the man was arrested in North Belfast, and he has been taken to Antrim police station for questioning.
