A 55-year-old man has been arrested after a suspected arson attack on a house.

A 55-year-old man has been arrested after a suspected arson attack on a house.

Police said the blaze was started deliberately inside the property on Glencairn Crescent in north Belfast at about 6.30pm on Saturday.

The house, which was empty at the time, was completely gutted.

Detectives have appealed for witnesses.
