A man has been arrested in Cork City following the discovery of cocaine with an estimated street value of €20,000.

A man has been arrested in Cork City following the discovery of cocaine with an estimated street value of €20,000.

The 24-year-old was detained after detectives stopped and searched a car in Blackpool yesterday evening.

He is being questioned at Gurranabraher Garda station.
