Man, 27, dies in Longford collision

A 27-year-old man has died in a collision in Co Longford.

Gardai in Co. Longford are appealing for witnesses to a fatal crash last night.

A black Toyota Avensis hit a pole at Legan Village at ten past eleven, killing the 27-year-old driver.

His 22-year-old passenger was injured in the collision.

Gardai say they wish to speak to anyone who may have seen the crash, or the the car involved, which had a 99 SO registration, before the collision.
