Mairia Cahill said she has been contacted by another victim of abuse.
It comes amid the ongoing controversy surrounding allegations from a County Louth man that he was raped by an IRA member and later forced to face a republican kangaroo court.
Paudie McGahon spoke out last week after being inspired by the efforts of Mairia Cahill to tell her story.
Ms Cahill said she has passed the information onto the PSNI and gardaí.
"Victims have been contacting me, and I think the coverage is extremely important because it does bring other people forward," she said.
"Late last night, I spoke to someone else who had previously, actually, been to police. Now, more information has come to light and they wish to make another statement."
She said the victim was male and the abuser was believed to be living in the Republic.
