LRC to arrange talks to avoid strike action by junior doctors
The Labour Relations Commission is to arrange talks tomorrow to try and avoid a strike by junior doctors.
The Irish Medical Organisation had been due to start industrial action on September 25 in a dispute over working hours.
The organisation said that the HSE is not doing enough to address the chronic working hours for non-consultants working in the country's hospitals.
The LRC is to invite both sides to talks tomorrow to see whether the strike can be averted.
