Lily Mae ready for Santa

One year on from her cancer operation, "tiny dancer" Lily Mae Morrison from Dublin says she ready for Santa's arrival.

"We're going to leave him a glass of milk and some cookies," she said.

"And we're going to leave him nine carrots for the reindeer."

Santa is now making last-minute preparations before leaving the North Pole to begin delivering presents to all the children around the world.

According to NORAD - the North American Aerospace Defence Command - he is not en route yet, but conditions are clear.

The reindeer are just finishing a power meal while Santa is checking his sleigh.

Santa visits the South Pacific first, then New Zealand and Australia.

After that, he shoots up to Japan, over to Asia, across to Africa, then onto Western Europe, Canada, the United States and Latin America.
