Lifeboat rescues fishermen off Cork coast

Two fishermen have been rescued after their boat lost power off the coast of Cork this morning.

The 35 foot vessel got into difficulty 31 miles south of Courtmacsharry, just off the Kinsale Head Gas Field.

The Courtmacsharry RNLI Lifeboat has taken the fishing boat in tow, and is expected to return to shore by 5pm this evening.

No injuries have been reported.
