One happy Leitrim Lotto player made the trip to Abbey Street in Dublin today to pick up a cheque for €94,673 today.

The lucky punter matched five numbers and the Bonus Ball for the Lotto draw on Saturday April 30.

The delighted winner, who wishes to keep his/her identity private, bought the winning Normal Play ticket at Bredin’s Newsagents on Main Street, Manorhamilton, Co Leitrim on the day of the draw.

The Lotto Draw on April 30 produced two Match 5 + Bonus winners.

The other winning ticket was sold in Ballyconnell, Co Cavan and was claimed by a jubilant local family who collected their winnings on May 4.

Wednesday’s jackpot is an estimated €2.5m.
