Efforts are underway at Leinster House to find 21 missing artworks.

The Office of Public Works has told the Irish Daily Mail that personnel "continue to research their current whereabouts".

The most valuable of the group is an oil painting worth more than €2,300.

There are 11 buildings in the Leinster House complex, with a total of more than 720 artworks on display.
