Gardaí in Dublin are investigating after a man was shot in the legs in Clondalkin last night.

Latest Dublin shooting not thought to be part of Kinahan-Hutch gang feud

Gardaí in Dublin are investigating after a man was shot in the legs in Clondalkin last night.

The man who is understood to be 27 years old was shot shortly before 9pm and was taken to Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

The scene at Shancastle Drive is still sealed off for a forensic examination.

The attack is not believed to be linked to the Kinahan-Hutch gang feud which has claimed several lives since Christmas.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact Ronanstown garda station on 01-666 7700, the Garda Confidential Line 1 800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
