KPMG to create 200 jobs

Financial and professional services firm KPMG is to create 200 jobs across the country.

The company is rolling out the permanent positions over the next 12 months - in addition to its latest graduate recruitment drive, which saw 300 people hired.

It follows an announcement within the past week by Grant Thornton, that it planned to recruit 250 new employees here over the next 18 months.

KPMG managing partner in Ireland Shaun Murphy said: "We are targeting professionals at home and abroad to fill 200 positions in the areas of management consulting, risk consulting, tax, audit, restructuring and transaction services.

"In recent years, we have seen a lot of evidence of Irish professionals working abroad looking to come home.

"We can offer competitive packages as well as a challenging and rewarding career working with some of Ireland’s leading indigenous and multinational companies."
