Sixty new jobs have been announced by the Kilkenny group.

The design body says they will fill the roles by the end of 2013.

Kilkenny says the jobs will be spread across sales, retail and administration at stores around the country, as well as across Kilkenny Group distribution and online operations.

It will bring Kilkenny’s total number of employees to 275 by the end of next year.

Since September 2011, the company has opened four new stores in Trim, Co Meath; Stillorgan and Grafton St in Dublin; and Douglas, Co Cork.

A further three stores will be opened in the next 12 months.
