A teenage girl has gone missing from her home in Co Kildare.

Gardaí in Naas are seeking the public’s help in tracing 14-year-old Catherine (Cathy) Hayes Rice, who has been missing since Sunday, April 6.

Cathy was last seen in Naas at around 7pm on Sunday and is described as being 5’9/5’10 in height, with dark hair and of slim build.

When last seen she was wearing a long black coat with a furry hood, black runners with a white stripe and she had her hair tied up.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone with information or who may have seen Cathy to contact them at Naas Garda Station on 045-884300, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800-666 111, or any Garda Station.

Update, April 11: Gardaí say Cathy Hayes Rice has been found safe and well.
