Kenny: Seanad referendum will be in ' latter half of 2013'


Voters will have to wait until the second half of next year to decide whether to scrap the Seanad.

The Taoiseach has told the Dáil the referendum promised by the coalition will be held in 'the latter half of 2013'.

The coalition is not expected to hold any referendums during our Presidency of the European Council in the first six months of next year.
