Kenny: Ireland's bailout terms 'unfair'
24/01/2013 - 14:55:58Taoiseach Enda Kenny has said this afternoon that the terms of Ireland's bailout programme are unfair in comparison to those imposed on other EU states.
Mr Kenny was speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos where he is continuing to push Ireland's case for a renegotiation of the conditions of our bailout deal.

The Taoiseach said Ireland can't exit the bailout programme this year if European leaders don't follow through on their commitments on the Anglo promissory notes and separating sovereign debt from bank debt.
He told CNBC that new systems available to other countries should now be applied to Ireland.
"The mechanisms and the tools that are available now were not available when Ireland went over the edge," he said.
"In that sense, we feel that the imposition on Ireland has been unfair, and that the mechanisms that are available now should be applied in Ireland's particular case."
