Kenny escapes unscathed from FG front bench meeting
The Fine Gael front bench has today fully endorsed Enda Kenny as party leader.
They met this morning following George Lee's announcement yesterday that he was stepping down from the party and from his seat in the Dáil.
Also up for discussion was the strength of 'mutterings' concerning Deputy Kenny's continuation as leader.
However, following almost two hours of talks the front bench says they are united behind Kenny as leader.
