Cork student Karen Buckley will be laid to rest on Tuesday.

Ms Buckley's remains are due to return to Ireland this weekend, as a 21-year-old man remains in police custody in Glasgow, charged with her murder.

Karen's body was discovered on farmland north of Glasgow last week, after she had been missing for four days.

The 24-year-old is survived by her parents John and Marian and brothers Brendan, Kieran and Damien.

Funeral mass will take place on Tuesday at the Church of St. Michael the Archangel, Analeentha, County Cork with burial in St. John’s Cemetery, Burnfort.
