Johnston Mooney and O’Brien is recalling batches of its sliced pans over concerns it may contain small pieces of plastic.

Johnston Mooney and O’Brien is recalling batches of its sliced pans over concerns it may contain small pieces of plastic.

The bakery says as a precautionary measure its recalling its Toastie 800g pan with a best before date of September 29 and codes D27 and E27 which could contain small pieces of blue plastic tubing.

The company says to the best of their knowledge there is no risk to consumers who may have already consumed the product and no other Johnston Mooney & O'Brien products are affected.

Any potentially affected packs have been removed from the supermarket shelves.
