Jim Carrey believed to be in Ireland for ex-girlfriend Cathriona White's removal

A private jet believed to have been carrying Carrey and a small entourage, landed at Dublin Airport at 2.20am.

The private jet had begun its journey several hours earlier in Van Nuys, Los Angeles, where local police have been investigating Ms White's death on September 28.

The 30-year old movie make up artist from Cappawhite, Co Tipperary, died in her LA home.

Ms White is to be laid to rest tomorrow in her native Cappawhite beside her late father Pat, who died in 2012, following a long battle with cancer.

A large media presence is due to be in attendance at Our Lady of Fatima Church in the South Tipperary village tomorrow.

Hundreds of mourners are due to pay their respects to Ms White and her family at her removal at 8pm tonight at her grandfather's undertakers firm, White Funeral Directors, in Doon, Co Limerick.

Ms White and Mr Carrey, who became a box office hit through his movies Dumb and Dumber and The Truman Show, had rekindled their love for each other again recently after a previous split.

However the pair split again last month.

Several notes were found in Ms White's home and police discovered her body next to prescription pills, some of which were reportedly in Carrey's name.

An autopsy has been carried out on her body, however results of toxicology tests will not be known for some weeks.

At least one note found in Ms White's home apparently made reference to her split with Carrey.

It emerged last week that Ms White was married to cameraman Mark Burton, from whom she was seeking a divorce while dating Carrey.

Ms White's sister Lisa, and her stepmother Bríd, returned to Cappawhite this week after travelling to LA to repatriate her body.

Cathriona's mother Brigid, has also traveled to Cappawhite from her adopted home in England where she had been living for the past number of years.

Ms White's requiem mass is to take place on Saturday at 11.30am.

A statement from the Catholic a Communications Office (CCO) said: "As Our Lady of Fatima Church in Cappawhite has a limited capacity of 300 seats, the inside of the church has been reserved for family, loved ones and parishioners only."

"An external loud speaker, and a small reserved area for media cameras, will be available on the church grounds," the CCO added.
