An Irish couple who survived the terror attack at the Bataclan theatre in Paris say they would love to attend a memorial concert on Tuesday - but feel it is too soon.

Katie Healy and her boyfriend David Nolan were watching the Eagles of Death Metal three months ago when gunmen burst in and killed 89 people.

The band have invited all the survivors of the massacre to the poignant gig.

But Katie has said they cannot be there: “When I first heard that they were going to come back at some point, I thought that that would be great closure for everybody who was at the concert who is fit to go back.

“But that is not going to happen for us anyway, and a few other people feel it is too soon too so they won’t be going back.”
