Irish soldiers arrive back in Dublin after stint in Syria
More than 90 troops have arrived home following a six-month stint in Syria.
They have arrived into Baldonnell in Dublin where they are being greeted by family and friends.
The 43rd Infantry group were the first Irish contingent to be deployed with the United Nations Disengagement Observers Force in the Golan Heights.
They provided protection for UN resupply convoys and were also involved in an operation to remove UN personnel from hostile situations.
Most of the soldiers are based in Dublin city centre, with others based in Louth.
