Irish firm starts live streaming of funerals online for expats abroad

A new company is offering families the chance to stream funerals so expats can witness the event online.

Funerals Live, founded by Co Clare businessman Alan Foudy, is targeted at emigrants who cannot travel to attend family funerals.

Those hoping to see a funeral from abroad will be given a password in order to watch the livestream.

The firm can also provide the option of a video recording of the entire service two hours after it has finished.
