Irish Ferries vessel stuck in France to resume sailings

Cruise ferry Oscar Wilde is set to resume its normal scheduled sailings, Irish Ferries has announced today.

The company confirmed that a replacement component required to restore the radar system on board its Ireland/France has been secured and repairs will be completed today, allowing it to depart from Cherbourg to Rosslare at 9.30pm this evening.

Passengers who had elected to extend their stay in France will return this evening on board the vessel together with all other passengers who had booked to travel on this scheduled sailing.

Remaining passengers who were affected by the cancellation of last Tuesday’s sailing were successfully accommodated on other services back to Ireland.
