Irish couple injured in UK car crash now in stable condition

An Cork couple who were seriously injured in a car crash in Devon in England last month are now said to be "out of danger" and are both in a stable condition.
Con and Elber Twomey from Meelin in north Cork lost their 18-month-old son and unborn daughter when their car was involved in a head-on collision in Torquay on July 6.
They remain in Derriford Hospital in Plymouth, but a spokesperson for the hospital says their condition has been upgraded to stable.
The driver of the other car was arrested at the scene but subsequently was taken to hospital, where he died.
