Irish Rail and trade unions threatening strike action have been invited to talks on Monday.

Irish Rail and trade unions threatening strike action have been invited to talks on Monday.

The Workplace Relations Commission, formerly the LRC, has invited the rail company management, as well as SIPTU and the NBRU to participate in discussions aimed at averting industrial action.

The unions had issued notice for morning rush hour strikes involving train drivers on Friday 23rd October and Friday 6th November.
