Investigation underway after prisoner attempts to kill himself
The Prison Service is investigating claims that an inmate made two attempts to take his own life in one of the country's biggest jails.
It's understood the man, who is in his early 20s, deliberately injured himself on Saturday morning.
After being seen by medical staff he was returned to a cell where he later made a second attempt.
He was in a serious condition but it is understood he is now out of danger.
