International Space Station visible in Irish skies tonight

The International Space Station will be visible in the night sky over Ireland this evening.

The station which is the largest ever to be put into orbit at a cost of €100bn will be passing until April 22.

According to Astronomy Ireland it will be the brightest object in the night sky tonight at 9.49pm.

The craft itself is roughly the size of Croke Park and its massive solar panels make it extremely bright when seen from earth.
