Independent TDs want support noted in bid to challenge promissory notes

Three Independent TDs are in the High Court this morning to support a legal challenge to the payment of the controversial promissory notes.

Lawyers for Shane Ross, Stephen Donnelly and Joan Collins have told the Court they are not joining the case, but want their support noted.

Businessman, David Hall says the multi-billion euro payments are being made without a Dail vote, and should be declared void.

His legal team has told the Court public funds are being spent in the absence of Government approval.
