14/11/2009 - 17:02:27
The railway line between Arklow in Co Wicklow and Gorey in Co Wexford was closed today on safety grounds after recent extremely heavy rain resulted in an embankment becoming unstable.

Bus transfers are in operation for rail services between Wicklow and Gorey as a result.

The railway operator apologised for the inconvenience caused.
